Nope, no decorations here yet either. I like to do it when the boys are with their dad for the weekend after Thanksgiving and surprise them when they get home but....no luck this year. They are bringing up the decorations tonight so we can start. What they won't be brining up (Robyn!!) is a tree. We'll go get it this weekend if all goes as planned.
Sean, I know what you mean feeling sad when the little ones don't love those movies like we do. I was playing tribond w/ a group the other night and the clues were Charlie in the Box, a cowboy that rides an ostrich and a pink polka dot elephant (I think) and I was the ONLY one who knew they were misfit toys. Sigh...what is the world coming to??

Robyn, Why not a real tree? They add such a wonderful sent to the house! I grew up with a fake tree and hated it. Since we have been married we have always had a real one. Go ahead Rob, give it a try, get a real one this year.
Todd, Deb went for a test today. She is ok, just needed to get checked out.

Nope, no real tree here. I would like one, but hubby doesn't want one. I don't know if I could even keep it alive - I can barely keep my plants alive LOL

Robyn, must be real tree! And you don't keep it alive. It is pretty much dead once they chop it down!  I wanted to let you know I am back and all went well. Just feeling crummy right now. I was up sick ALL night from the crap they made me drink, and the the practically amputated my arm with the IV and the anesthesia pretty much wiped me out. So, I am off to bed. My mom is here watching Ty. Thank you everyone for the emails and the texts. Robyn, I responded to your text a few minutes ago! Off to bed....... |

Thanks for everyone's wondering where I was. I had stuff to do yesterday with Colton's surgery next week. Pretty much stuck in a waiting room for hours at a time yesterday.....
I updated the Karma meter to 100. If you guys don't smite each other, they will only climb. But Sean has someone in bed with him because you can't exalt yourself. Find the culprit and smite them as well.......
The level thing gets incrementally harder to climb, so 400 wasn't the next level. Sorry Deb. I will check to see what it is.....
Fake tree already put up last weekend so we don't have to worry about it in the next weeks. Already cracked out the XBOX 360 to distract my son as well.

Robyn, still very upset about the fake tree. MUST be real tree. I drag my family to get it. Mine is going up this weekend, which again, I force my family to decorate. My daughter gets all excited until we start and she decides she would rather do something else. My husband is bah humbug. So I usually end up doing the tree alone. I am doing the other decorations tomorrow. Chuck, good to see you back. Remember you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sean, come on. Let us know who you are in bed/hot tub with for that much Karma. Terry, almost ready to take you up on that dinner. Todd, sorry I didn't keep you in the loop. THIS IS COMING FROM A JEWISH PERSON.
The tree must be REAL. No if and or buts. I love the holiday season. We may not get to decorate much this year as we are moving in on Dec 11th but rest assured my family will have a REAL tree before x-mas.
