That's great that he wants to be involved. I scares me to death to even think of Ray explaining anything to the boys! He is not very diplomatic when saying things. Or sensitive or caring for that matter!

How did you respond to the "hold it there" question?

When I got pregnant with Ty, Brian told Aly that we hugged. So, she was afraid to hug! Then, he covered by saying "and you have to eat a special food!" Before our talk, she knew you had sex to have a baby, but she didn't know what sex was. And, she still doesn't understand the point of having sex outside of wanting to make a baby. No idea of feeling good or anything. To her it is an obligation you fulfill if you want to have a baby.

One day I came home and Aly and Brian were sitting on the couch and they both looked like they had been hit by a train. Brian moreso! Apparently, Aly asked what a penis was and Brian got out his laptop and looked it up online and showed her diagrams.

I have to run for alittle bit. I have to go pick up munchkins for Patricks class to celebrate. Asked him if he wanted cupcakes but he chose the munchkins. This is my last year that I can do that for him! And then the thought of Katelyn going to preschool in the fall.........Yeah, not going to talk about that one!

At the parent's meeting, they were showing us a book we could use to explain things. Brian leaned over to me and said "I'm gonna ask if I can show her a DVD" I lost it! I was laughing so hard and I couldn't look at him without laughing. I knew what he meant but it just sounded wrong.

Men definately are not very good in those situations! Ray scares me sometimes. Would hate for the kids to ask ray a question when I am not around! Not that I think I have all the knowledge but I can say things abit more tactful than he can.

It is not the easiest thing to talk about but I always take the approach that I would rather her get the right information from me than the wrong information from someone else. And, although there are times that I totally want to freak out, I don't because I want her to know she can come to me and talk to me. I would hate to be a girl growing up right now!

He didn't get upset. He knew what I was thinking. And I knew that all the other dad's around us would be thinking the same thing! It was so funny! I couldn't look at him!

I'll be back. I have to get the munchkins before I miss snack time. I also have to come up with some kind of bday party for him. He missed out last year because he wanted to go snowboarding for his party but the weather got too warm and they couldn't do it. Better find a plan B or I'm in trouble.
