It is even less than the usual crowd. It has been quiet except for mostly you, me, Terry and Chuck. I think the holidays threw everyone off. As much as I love the holidays it is nice to get back on track.

Hey, Robyn, you can let Morgan know that Aly won't be texting for a while. She hasn't been keeping her room clean and when I was in there last night I got frustrated with the mess. So, I took her phone away until she shows me she is back to keeping it neat. She didn't like me very much! ![>:(](http://www.epilepsysupport.org.uk/imagehost/emoticons/bulhrn.gif) Last night I was not Cool Mom. ;D But the mess makes me ![:o](http://www.epilepsysupport.org.uk/imagehost/emoticons/bigraz.gif)

Last night, Jeff was not the cool dad. We were finishing putting away our Xmas stuff and gifts and chucking stuff. I told her to make sure her room was straightened up, as the new cleaning lady comes today. She goes upstairs and then Jeff goes up and I hear him going off on her. SHe was lying on her bed, TV on and cell phone to her ear. She took her clothes that she was supposed to put away and shoved them in a duffel bag on her bed. THen, he grabbed the laundry basket and said "What the hell is this?" She took clothes she got for Xmas, TAGS STILL ON THEM and threw them in the laundry. Her response "Sooorrrrrryyyyy" (that sarcastic sorry). THen she has the nerve to say "I want a laptop for my birthday. No wait, I want Nintendo Wii". He goes "You going to get nothing and like it if you don't clean this mess up". I've had it with her! THen he said "Straighten up in here, the cleaning people come tomorrow" She says "Isn't that what they come for? To clean?" He goes "It would be nice if they could get INTO your room to clean it and no, they aren't here to pick your crap up off the floor!"

Sounds like my house. Although I must say Aly's attitude has definitely improved. That sarcastic "Soooorrrrryyyy" goes right through me! I think she finally learned to not use that one around me! Aly says the same thing about the cleaning lady too. I clean before the cleaning lady comes, then she comes and cleans, and then I clean again. And, Aly gets all upset if the cleaning lady moves her stuff to clean and then does not put it back the right way. I say "Aly, how can you even tell if anything is out of place in this room?" She has gotten much better but I stay on her. Like the play room....I got sick of the mess so I went in there with garbage bags and threw everything away. 8 bags full of stuff. I threatened to do the same in her bedroom so it will be clean when I get home, I guarantee!

We had about 6 bags last night..games that are missing pieces, stupid happy meal toys. Got rid of a lot of crap that Connor doesn't use anymore - legos - he hasn't touched them in over a year. I'm actually getting my family room back..it's not split in half anymore. Now I'm going to pack up all the VHS movies into boxes - they haven't watched any of them in I don't know how long!

I can't take credit for the avatar. That was Chuck. He was helping me with my laptop issue, which by the way is fixed, thanks to him! He put it up there in honor of my frustrations!
